First time dining at Giuseppe’s. Came because we’d heard how good the prime rib was. Minnie took great care of us. Making recommendations and making sure all of our needs were attended to. The food was good. The prime rib definitely hit! Hubby said, it’s the best he’s had in this area. The quality of meat was what made it great! The raw oysters were good, wouldn’t get the oysters Rockefeller again. Didn’t care for the cheese & spinach they added. The chicken cacciatore was okay. Was a little too sweet for my liking but adding red pepper flakes helped. The wine selection is nice. The garlic bread was not good. Very dry and bland. I would like to go back and try a different dish that had a wine base instead of tomato base. Definitely on the pricier side. 2 glasses of wine, 2 big beers, 2 apps, 2 entrees = $160 with tip
The food was good and our server was very kind and accommodating. A couple of small things kept it from being 5 stars: the bread took a little while to come out, which usually helps make the wait feel shorter. Also, we weren’t initially given any butter or olive oil for the bread, but once we asked, they brought out a really nice plate with oil, salt, and herbs — which we appreciated.
Took the husband here for an early bday dinner (we've meang to try this place forever). Service was prompt, she was super attentive and paced our appetizer/soup/main perfectly- and while we couldn't finish either delish main, I did talk the birthday boy into sharing tirimasu, which they gifted to him. Food was just wonderful with no complaints from me at all, even the soup, which I'm super picky about. Is it fazolis prices, no, but for the quality and a nice meal out, worth it imo. Definitely a local gem, and we will be returning!
This was a pretty nice restaurant. The dish I tried didn't really work. It was sausage with onions and peppers over spaghetti. I think the long noodles were difficult to eat with the other parts. Also the smooth noodles didn't collect as much sauce as a ribbed or textured pasta would. The onions should maybe have been cooked a little more. They were almost raw as was the peppers. I like raw peppers and onions but it did not work here. It was a little difficult getting my drink refilled.
I know why this restaurant has been in business 36 years, it is phenomenal! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was 100 percent on point. I came in after a family funeral for a to go order. They took the best care of me! The pasta was delicious, and I highly recommend this small business to anyone near and far!
Best restaurant in our area! Traditional Italian food and recipes from a wonderful family cookbook. The employees are family and treat us like family. The age of the restaurant and the parking lot always full proves their success.
